Server accessories can be platform-, chassis-, or revision-specific. Visual similarity is not enough to establish fit.
Request preparation
Provide the server identity, accessory function and location, exact reference if known, revision, required included parts, quantity, and acceptable alternatives.
Technical parameters and selection boundaries
Published configurations differ by manufacturer and exact part number. These are selection dimensions, not one combined specification.

- For maintenance or chassis configuration work, start with machine type, existing FRU labels, backplane/controller layout and rack dimensions. Preserve the differences between a configuration feature code, an orderable accessory and a service replacement part.
Compatibility, current supply, lead time, origin, and acceptance documents must be confirmed for the actual order.
